From Your First Inquiry to Your Final Gallery
Choosing a photographer is about so much more than beautiful images. It’s about finding someone you trust to preserve your memories. My goal is to make the entire experience simple, stress-free, and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Whether you’re planning a surprise proposal, celebrating an engagement, updating your family photos, or documenting another special milestone, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way!
Step One:
Say Hello
Fill out my contact form with a few details about the session you’re looking for. Tell me about your vision, preferred date, and any questions you have. The more details you share, the better I can help create the perfect experience.
Step Two:
Receive Your Personalized Quote
I’ll respond with package options, pricing, availability, and answers to any questions you may have. Together, we’ll find the session that best fits your needs.
Step Three:
Choose Your Date
Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll choose a date, time, and general location for your session. If you’re unsure where you’d like your session to take place, I’m always happy to provide recommendations throughout Northern Michigan after your session has been booked!
Step Four:
Complete Your Contract & Questionnaire
You’ll receive a photography contract along with a short questionnaire. This helps me get to know you, learn more about your vision, and prepare for your session. This is sent once the quote has been accepted.
Step Five:
Secure Your Booking
Your session is officially reserved once your signed contract and 50% non-refundable retainer have been received.
If we haven’t finalized your location yet, don’t worry! Your booking will simply be marked as “Location To Be Determined” until we decide together.
Step Six:
Planning Your Session
This is where the fun begins!
I’ll help with location suggestions, outfit guidance, timing recommendations, and answer any questions leading up to your session. My goal is to make sure you feel confident and prepared before we ever meet.
Step Seven:
Session Day
Take a deep breath and enjoy the moment.
You don’t need to know how to pose—that’s my job! I’ll guide you throughout your session while also capturing the genuine moments that happen naturally. My goal is for you to leave saying, “That was actually fun!”
Step Eight:
Gallery Delivery
After your session, I’ll carefully hand-edit your images and deliver them through a private online gallery.
From there, you’ll be able to:
* Download your hand edited high-resolution images
* Share your gallery link with a download pin or password, with family and friends
Please note that online galleries remain active for a limited time. Be sure to download and back up your images before your gallery expires. Gallery reactivation or extensions may be available for an additional fee.
